Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026

This page describes how Game Hub Arena is funded and what commercial relationships exist. Headline: Google AdSense is the primary funding source; affiliate relationships, where they exist, are minimal and disclosed inline; categorical exclusions apply (no gambling, no adult, no piracy, no malicious-affiliate networks).

1. Google AdSense display advertising

The Site is supported by display advertising via Google AdSense. SpQecifically:

  • Why AdSense. The HTML5 games portal niche is AdSense-compatible (unlike anime-streaming aggregators or adult-content sites which the AdSense policy framework excludes). The Site has an active AdSense publisher account: pub-8857722445444177.
  • How AdSense ads are delivered. Ads are served by AdSense's auction process; specific advertisers are selected automatically based on the page content, the user's audience signals (where consent allows), and AdSense's brand-safety framework. Auto Ads are configured for the Site with sensible density limits.
  • Category exclusions. The AdSense publisher account is configured with category exclusions (no gambling, no adult, no scam-product, no predatory financial products) to maintain the family-friendly default ad environment. Full framework on AdSense Compliance.
  • Reports of problematic ads. Sent to abuse [at] gamehubarena [punto] fun. We work with AdSense to investigate and exclude problematic creatives.

AdSense privacy and data-flow framework: see Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

2. What an affiliate relationship is (and what we do)

An affiliate relationship is one in which Game Hub Arena may receive a commission when a user clicks an affiliate link, follows it to a partner's site, and completes a purchase or qualifying action. The user pays no more for the purchase as a result; the affiliate commission is paid by the partner from the standard purchase price.

Affiliate relationships at Game Hub Arena: minimal

The Site is primarily AdSense-supported. Affiliate marketing is not a major part of the funding model. Where the Site participates in affiliate programs at all, the categories are limited to:

  • Gaming hardware and accessories (where mainstream programs like Amazon Associates touch hardware-recommendation contexts).
  • Gaming-related books and educational content.
  • Premium-tier gaming services (game-distribution platforms with affiliate programs and reasonable terms) where editorially relevant.

3. Categories where Game Hub Arena does NOT participate

  • Gambling and betting affiliates. Categorically excluded. The audience includes minors and the editorial standards on Content Standards make gambling promotion inappropriate. AdSense compliance also requires this exclusion.
  • Adult content affiliates. The Site is family-friendly default; adult-content affiliates would conflict with the brand promise and AdSense compliance.
  • Pirated-content affiliate networks. Categorically excluded. We do not promote or earn from sites that distribute pirated games.
  • Malware-adjacent or scam-product affiliates. Excluded.
  • "Get-rich-quick" schemes, MLM programs.
  • Cryptocurrency affiliate programs with unclear regulatory status or consumer-protection concerns.
  • "Free games" sites that redistribute copyrighted content without authorization.
  • Affiliates that require deceptive framing, link-cloaking that hides the affiliate relationship.

4. Disclosure standards

Where an article or catalog entry on the Site contains affiliate links, the relationship is disclosed:

  • Inline at the point of the link with clear language ("affiliate link", "we may receive a commission" or equivalent).
  • At the top or bottom of an article or catalog entry where multiple affiliate links exist.
  • In the footer of the Site with a standing disclosure linking to this page.

Standard disclosure language: "Game Hub Arena participates in [partner]'s affiliate program. If you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Editorial coverage is independent of these relationships — see Editorial Independence."

5. Editorial independence from affiliates and AdSense

Editorial decisions (which games to include, content rating decisions, source-feed selection, takedown response) are made independently of affiliate-marketing or AdSense considerations. The wall is described in detail on Editorial Independence.

6. FTC compliance (U.S. readers)

For U.S. readers, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's affiliate-marketing disclosure guidance applies. Game Hub Arena's practices:

  • Material connections (affiliate relationships) are disclosed clearly and conspicuously.
  • Disclosures are placed in proximity to the affiliate link.
  • Disclosure language is plain English.
  • The connection is not concealed by URL-cloaking or visually-deceptive presentation.

7. EU and Italian consumer-protection compliance

  • Italian Codice del Consumo (D.Lgs. 206/2005) — consumer-protection law including disclosure of commercial communications.
  • Italian D.Lgs. 70/2003 (e-commerce directive transposition).
  • EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive 2005/29/EC.

8. How we are paid

AdSense revenue is paid per Google's standard publisher-payment terms (typically monthly to a verified payment account once the threshold is reached). Affiliate commissions, where the Site has them, are paid by the partner program after qualifying purchases clear. The Site does not participate in arrangements that would create perverse incentives within a partner category.

9. Reader rights

You can choose not to use affiliate links by accessing partner sites directly through their public URLs. Doing so produces the same purchase experience for the reader; the only effect is that Game Hub Arena does not receive an affiliate commission.

10. Updates

The affiliate-relationship inventory varies over time. Material changes — activation of new affiliate relationships at substantial scale, or addition of new ad networks beyond AdSense — are reflected in updates here.
