AdSense Compliance

Last updated: May 2026

This page documents Game Hub Arena's compliance with Google AdSense's publisher policies and program policies. The Site is an active AdSense publisher; the disciplines applied here protect the publisher account and reflect the editorial standards we apply for content, ad density, user safety, and family-friendly defaults. The framework is also a positive trust signal for AdSense reviews, ad-quality investigations, and compliance audits.

1. Publisher account status

Game Hub Arena's AdSense publisher account is active. The ads.txt file at /ads.txt declares the publisher relationship for ad-network verification:

google.com, pub-8857722445444177, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0

The publisher ID, the DIRECT designation (we work directly with Google AdSense, not through a reseller for this entry), and the f08c47... authority hash identify Google's verification record.

2. Content-policy alignment

AdSense Program Policies (the publisher policies and the ad-content policies together) define what publishers may carry as catalog content and what advertising they may serve. The Site's content alignment:

Categorical exclusions per Content Standards

Per Content Standards, the catalog excludes:

  • Real-money gambling content. No casino games, slot games, betting interfaces. AdSense's Restricted Categories framework treats gambling as restricted; we exclude the category entirely.
  • Adult content. No sexual content, no explicit imagery beyond mainstream-game-art conventions. AdSense's Prohibited Content framework treats sexually explicit content as a publisher-account-termination risk; we exclude.
  • Content sexualizing minors. Categorically excluded with NCMEC reporting framework where any reaches us.
  • Malware-adjacent content. Games or pages that trigger unexpected downloads, deceptive UI patterns, phishing-pattern overlays. AdSense's user-safety framework treats these as account-termination risks.
  • Pirated commercial games. Unauthorized HTML5 ports of commercial titles. AdSense's intellectual-property policies treat these as violations.
  • Content promoting real-world hatred against protected groups. AdSense's hate-speech policies are strict.

What we do carry

The catalog is HTML5 browser games — legitimately distributable through the source feeds we use, with developer attribution preserved, family-friendly default with content ratings, no real-money mechanics, no adult content, no malware behavior. This is squarely within AdSense's acceptable-content space.

3. Ad placement and density

Ad placement on the Site:

  • Auto Ads enabled via the AdSense Auto Ads system, with sensible limits configured (not maximum density).
  • Manual ad placements in CloudArcade theme positions (header banner area, sidebar, between-game-rows on category pages, between game-page metadata and the playable game frame).
  • No ads inside the playable game frame. Once a user clicks Play and the game loads, the playable area is the game; no ad creatives are layered over gameplay or placed in positions that obstruct gameplay.
  • Maximum-screen ad density discipline. The Site does not deploy interstitials that block gameplay, popunders, or pop-ups beyond what the AdSense framework permits.
  • No false "Play" buttons that are actually ads. Clear distinction between ad creatives and Site UI.

4. AdSense category exclusions configured

In the AdSense publisher account, the following ad-category exclusions are configured to maintain the family-friendly ad environment:

  • Gambling — all subcategories.
  • Adult / sexually-suggestive content — even contextual ads in this category.
  • Get-rich-quick schemes and similar scam-product categories.
  • Predatory financial products (high-cost short-term loans, investment scams).
  • Drug-related ads beyond pharmaceuticals (and pharmaceutical ads only where regionally compliant).
  • Sensitive-category ads calibrated for the family-friendly default.

5. EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trust) signals

Google evaluates publisher quality across several dimensions; the trust pages on this Site directly support the EEAT signals AdSense reviewers assess:

  • Experience. The catalog is curated through documented workflow (per How We Curate); the operator has direct experience with HTML5 games and CloudArcade operations.
  • Expertise. Per-game content ratings are applied with documented framework; game-source attribution is preserved; technical accuracy of catalog entries.
  • Authoritativeness. Single-publisher accountability (per Meet the Operator); documented standards across the policy pages; named contact channels per Contact Us.
  • Trust. Privacy policy (per Privacy Policy); cookie disclosure (per Cookie Policy); DMCA framework (per DMCA); editorial-commercial wall (per Editorial Independence); AI training opt-out (per Copyright Notice); children's-privacy framework (per Children's Privacy).

6. Invalid traffic policy

AdSense's invalid-traffic framework treats artificial traffic (paid traffic, bot traffic, click farms) and click manipulation as serious violations. The Site's practices:

  • No paid traffic acquisition that would compromise traffic quality.
  • No click-incentivization. The Site does not reward users for clicking ads or use any pattern that encourages click manipulation.
  • No self-clicking by editorial / operator team members.
  • Bot traffic is not knowingly tolerated. Where bot patterns are identified through analytics, they are reviewed and addressed.

7. Children's content and AdSense

The audience for an HTML5 games portal includes minors, including users under 13. The Site's COPPA + GDPR Art. 8 framework (per Children's Privacy) intersects AdSense compliance:

  • Non-personalized advertising defaults for users we cannot reliably identify as adult, reducing personalized-targeting exposure for minor users.
  • AdSense for Children's Content (the AdSense framework that applies to publishers serving children) considerations as relevant.
  • Category exclusions that prevent gambling, adult, and other inappropriate-for-minors ad categories from serving on the Site.

8. Brand safety

The Site's brand-safety posture supports AdSense advertiser confidence:

  • Family-friendly default catalog presentation.
  • Curated game catalog without surprise mature content reaching default surfaces.
  • Documented categorical exclusions that protect ads from appearing alongside problematic content.
  • Active monitoring of catalog and ad-creative quality.

9. Updates

This AdSense Compliance documentation is reviewed as AdSense's policy framework updates and as our operational practices evolve. Material changes are dated.
